The birds have come back for Christmas, and so has our little forest.

This tray sold out before Christmas last year. We're glad to say it's back, with more to share this time.

Three handmade wool felt trees stand on wooden stems across a scalloped acacia wood tray. One is layered with soft felt leaves, one twinkles with sparkly stripes and a star on top, and one has JOY embroidered across the front. Two resin birds on little metal feet, one brown and one green and black, stop to rest among them. A pinecone and boxwood garland with white berries circles the tray, adding soft green all the way around.

Styling tip: Give the striped tree the back center spot so it stands tallest. Set the leaf tree to its left and the JOY tree to its right, each a little forward. Place one bird in front of the leaf tree and the other between the two trees on the right, so they look like they just landed. Lay the garland in a loose ring around the tray, letting a few pinecones hang over the edge. Staggering the trees front to back gives the scene real depth.
