4-Way Crown Fitting for West Coast Style Classic Frame Tents
Beyond Tent's technical team stocks this 4-way crown as the central peak fitting for smaller West Coast style Classic Frame tents where the tent's length and width are equal. It's the single connection point where all four rafters meet at the center of the roof, so a worn or damaged crown here shows up immediately as a soft or uneven peak.
Fits standard West Coast style frames from most major manufacturers.
Why This Crown Matters
On square or near-square frame tents, every rafter load funnels through this single center fitting. If the crown is bent, cracked, or undersized, the whole roofline can sit unevenly even when every other fitting is correct. Replacing it with a properly sized 4-way crown restores a true, level peak and keeps load distributed evenly across all four rafters instead of concentrating on one.

Installation Notes from Our Install Crews
Dry-fit all four rafters into the crown before pinning any of them — this lets you catch a misaligned rafter before it's locked in place. Pin opposite rafters first (not adjacent ones) so the crown settles into a true center position before you close out the remaining connections.
