Brute is a heavy-duty detergent and one of the best steam cleaning compounds on the market today. You can use it with steam, hot or cold water, in high or low-pressure units. Brute contains water-softening compounds that will protect your equipment. For most cleaning applications, Brute dilutes with water up to 60 to 1. After diluting, Brute is safe on most paints and is the perfect product for cleaning steel prior to painting.
