The Tater® Mini G Force 2.0 is a 28" mini overload trainer. It's a compact version of our patent-pending Split Grip® Overload Trainer. Designed in collaboration with Big League hitting coach Guillermo Martinez. Built for younger players and hitters working on inside-pitch drills. It also works for anyone who wants overload training in a smaller package.
The full-size G Force 2.0 comes in 30" to 34" lengths. It's built for the standard adult game-bat hitter. The Mini G Force 2.0 takes the same Split Grip® patent-pending design and shrinks it to 28". That makes it the right tool for:
The Split Grip® technology is the same. It separates the top and bottom hand on the handle. That isolates the top-hand path through the zone and forces the hitter to drive the bat with proper mechanics. Combined with the +6 to 8 oz weight over a standard 28" bat, the Mini G Force builds:
The Mini G Force works in the same training contexts as the full-size G Force. Use it during the off-season for strength work. Use it during the season as a weighted on-deck bat. Swing it before stepping in to make a regulation bat feel lighter and quicker. Pair it with the SST Underload Trainer for the complete overload underload training methodology.
Tater Baseball® hand-builds wood bats for pro, college, and amateur hitters. The Mini G Force carries the same craft standard as every Tater pro-grade bat. New to overload training?
