TATER SOFTBALL™ H-Web — The Custom Fastpitch Third Base Glove

Fastpitch third base glove design is a balance of toughness and visibility. In fastpitch, the third baseman plays in tight — charging bunts, reading slappers, and standing in on hitters who can drive the ball right at her. The TATER SOFTBALL™ H-Web handles all of it. The horizontal and vertical leather strips give the pocket the structure to absorb a hard one-hopper without collapsing, while the open spacing keeps a sight line through the web for pop-ups and high chops.

Why the H-Web works at the hot corner

Third base in fastpitch has the least reaction time on the field. A hitter squaring around to bunt can swing away and rip one right at you, and you have to be ready for both. The H-Web holds its shape on hard contact better than an open trapeze or single post, and the spacing between the strips lets light through so you can track the ball better than with a fully closed web. That mix of toughness and visibility makes it a natural fit at third and a strong utility option at short.
