🧞What I Want for Women Like Me: Equal pay, equal opportunities, and equal treatment in all aspects of life and also the right to make choices about one’s own body, life and future, without judgment or restrictions.

👳🏾 What Head Wraps Mean to Me: Head wraps hold a significant cultural, spiritual and personal meaning to me. When it comes to the the cultural aspect, head wraps are an Islamic tradition worn by Muslim women as a symbol of modesty. With the spiritual meaning, head wraps also serve as protection and blessings.

👗 How I Wear It: I simply tie the fabric around my neck, with the ends hanging loose . 

👁 What I Hope to See More Of: I hope to see more of accurate and respectful portrayals of diverse cultures, identities and abilities. 

💅🏾 A Thought to Wrap Up: As I wrap my head wrap, I am reminded that my identity, culture and beauty are all intertwined. I hope that by sharing my story, I can inspire others to embrace their own unique identities and rock their own head wraps with confidence and pride.
