Joongarrabah - The Place of the Pelican

Introducing our newest recycled plastic mat by our Bundjalung artist, Christine Slabb.

Joongarrabah is a peak that overlooks the Tweed and Gold Coast Region. This iconic landmark is a vital part of the local cultural landscape.

For many generations, this special place has been significant in the teaching of “Garrima” respect.

In collaboration with Recycled Mats, this mat is one of a specially commissioned series that celebrates the coming together of nations from across the globe to partake in sport, culture, art and entertainment.

We adore this newest addition to the Recycled Plastic Mats range and its modern take on ancient wisdom .... and we think you will too.
