Built for the Ultralight Backcountry Hunter.

When you’re miles deep in the backcountry, tracking blood trails or packing out quarters in the dead of night, gear failure isn't an option. You need a light that matches your grit. The Fenix HM53R Rechargeable Headlamp is engineered for the hunter who demands maximum power without hauling dead weight. Fueled by a high-capacity 18350 battery, this beast unleashes a blinding 1200 lumens and keeps burning long after standard ultra-compact lights have died. It delivers the perfect tactical balance of raw power and a compact, streamlined profile.

Versatility in the Field

The HM53R is a multi-functional tool built for the tactical demands of the field:

• Adaptable Design: When you need a hand-held torch, it easily detaches from the headband to become a rugged right-angle flashlight.

• Hands-Free Utility: Features a built-in body clip and a magnetic tail cap that locks onto metallic surfaces, keeping your hands free for skinning, dressing, or setting up camp.

• Glove-Friendly Control: A single, oversized side switch provides fast, intuitive control over your beam—even with heavy winter hunting gloves on.

• Stealth & Night Vision: Instantly cycle through 5 brightness levels or weaponize 3 specialized Red light modes (including two red levels and red flash) to preserve your night vision and keep your location low-profile.

Overbuilt to Endure the Elements

Mother Nature doesn't hold back, and neither does this light. The HM53R is encased in a full-metal housing with a premium Type HAIII hard-anodized, anti-abrasive finish that laughs at hard impacts and rough terrain.

With an IP68 waterproof rating and an inner-waterproof USB Type-C charging port, it keeps running through torrential downpours and river crossings. It also features a tactical lockout function to prevent accidental activation in your pack, ensuring your battery is fully charged when it's time to move.
