The outside 4mm spokes cross from the hub to bolster the wheel and contribute torsional strength and stiffness for impact sports such as WCMX and other high intensity sports. Plus, our PBO fiber spoke technology has a vibration damping effect that gives a little bit of cushion to those tough landings and heavy impacts.
