The Magicard R0059 Repeat Custom HoloKote key adds a Custom HoloKote design you already have to another Magicard printer. Magicard licenses every custom watermark to one printer's serial number, so a design made with the R0058 Custom HoloKote key will not install on a second printer. The R0059 licenses that same design for one more printer, so cards from every printer in your organization carry the same watermark.

Who needs it: Organizations that already have a Custom HoloKote design on one Magicard printer and are adding a printer or matching cards across several sites. For a brand-new design, order the R0058 Custom HoloKote key instead. If the new printer is a different model from the one that holds the original design, ask us before ordering so we can confirm it with Magicard.

How ordering works: Order one R0059 for each printer you are adding. Magicard needs a completed Custom HoloKote Order Form: download it below; after you order, our team contacts you to collect it. On the form, enter the serial number of the printer that already holds your design and the serial numbers of the printers you are adding. Magicard asks for artwork only with new-design orders, so you do not send it again.

Installing the key: In the Windows printer driver, open Printing Preferences > Printer Upgrades > HoloKote > Manage HoloKote and move the available design into one of the printer's HoloKote slots. If the printer's computer is offline, download the .jfif file from your Magicard Support Account on another computer, copy it over, and add it with the Browse option in the same window.

The design prints as it was approved, in the same orientation, using the overlay panel of your standard YMCKO or YMCKOK ribbon, with no extra supplies. The key works with every Magicard 300 and 600 configuration, and with the earlier Rio Pro 360.
