Vigorous Red Raspberry with Extended Harvest
‘Caroline’ Raspberry is a robust, everbearing variety prized for its upright canes and generous production of medium to large, deep red berries. The fruit is softly conical with a delicate drupelet structure, offering a rich, sweet-tart flavor and an aromatic finish. Its foliage is lush and green, forming a dense, bushy habit that supports continuous flowering and fruiting from late summer into fall.

Developed for adaptability and productivity, this cultivar thrives across a wide range of temperate climates. It stands out for its exceptional heat tolerance compared to traditional raspberries, making it a reliable performer in warmer regions. The berries are ideal for fresh eating, preserving, and desserts, while the plant itself adds a classic orchard feel to edible landscapes.

Raspberries have long held a cherished place in culinary traditions across Europe and North America, where they are used in jams, pastries, cordials, and fresh desserts. The ‘Caroline’ variety continues this legacy with improved vigor and flavor, making it a favorite among home gardeners and small-scale growers. Raspberries symbolize abundance and sweetness in seasonal harvest traditions, often featured in late summer gatherings and farm-to-table cuisine.
