Daffodil - Original Painting on Paper

Daffodil, Nothing says spring like a daffodil!! Daffodils have a unique shape so in this painting I used the light shadow marks of the background to bring out the shapes in the flower in particular the horn. The sunny bright colors of this painting hint at the floral delights of spring!!!! Enjoy!!!

Daily Challenge: This daily art process involve trying out some new art supplies like gouache and mixed media. I've spent years using acrylic paint. In this daily challenge I experiment with a few different mixed mediums and methods. Playing keeps creativity alive and exciting!!!
