Shells & Rock - Original Painting on Paper

Shells & Rock, These are some more subjects from my natural objects collection. Love the shapes and textures. this is another painting where I started with orange undercoat and added gouache on top to give it some extra depth and volume to the objects.

Daily Challenge: This daily art process involve trying out some new art supplies like gouache and mixed media. I've spent years using acrylic paint. In this daily challenge I experiment with a few different mixed mediums and methods. Playing keeps creativity alive and exciting!!!
