With our color light therapy innovation, we are expanding that mission to support emotional wellness and mental resilience through the healing potential of light.

Color Light Therapy Experience

Color light therapy commonly uses LED lighting to support relaxation, stress relief, and mood balance. In the 1990s, NASA began studying LED light for its potential to promote cellular and tissue growth in astronauts. Today, color LED lighting is widely used to create calming and restorative environments.

Inspired by research in photobiomodulation and color therapy, Solight’s multi-color light system provides a natural way to enhance mental wellness and support emotional balance. Unlike traditional therapy lamps that rely only on bright white light, our color light therapy technology allows you to choose specific colors associated with different wellness benefits.

Use calming blue light to support relaxation and mental clarity, energizing red and orange light to help increase vitality and motivation, or soothing green and yellow light to encourage emotional balance and stress relief. With regular use, color light therapy can become a simple daily ritual that helps promote a more positive mood, better focus, and greater overall well-being.

Research & Clinical Collaboration

Solight’s color light therapy system is being developed in collaboration with researchers at Harvard Medical School, exploring how specific wavelengths of colored light may help support mood regulation, stress reduction, and emotional resilience.

Preliminary observations from pilot use at Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv, Ukraine, where children experiencing severe trauma and stress were exposed to structured color light environments, suggest promising outcomes. Healthcare providers observed measurable improvements in mood, calmness, and emotional engagement among participating children after exposure to therapeutic colored light sessions.

While research is ongoing, these early observations reinforce the growing body of evidence suggesting that light—beyond illumination—can play a meaningful role in supporting mental health and emotional well-being.

Solight is committed to continuing this research in partnership with leading medical institutions to better understand how color light therapy can help people feel calmer, more balanced, and more hopeful.
