Despite nearly 600 million people lacking access to electricity, many families in rural Africa, are unable to afford the £5 cost of a solar lamp. Instead, they are forced to turn to harmful alternatives like kerosene lamps or paraffin candles. The toxic fumes from these lighting sources are dangerous for people and the planet.

Your donation will support our ongoing programmes and mean many more families can access sustainable energy and transform their lives with solar power.
