Inlet Header Hold-Down Bracket Assembly w/ Tension Spring (High-Wind Mounting Security) • Solar Pool Supply

Supplemental Inlet (lower) header hold-down bracket assemblies are recommended when installing in climates with frequent high-wind weather conditions.
The spring-tension design allows for normal collector expansion and contraction, while also providing additional security.

*DON’T secure the bottom header with any type of mounting bracket OTHER than the Inlet Header Hold-Down Bracket Assembly w/ Tension Spring. Securing the bottom header with any mounting device other than this unit may damage the collector and will void the warranty.

Supplemental High Wind Kits are available and include the components for running additional lines of hold-down strap as well as the tension springs for securing the lower headers.

High Wind Panel Kits: (1) one high wind panel kit is recommended per solar panel in the array (PN 12035).
High-Wind Row Kits: (1) one high-wind row kit is recommended per row of solar panels (PN 12143).
Hold-Down Strap: How much strap you need is dependent on how many solar panels are in the array (PN 16007-1).

Compatibility: Will work with any solar pool heating system that has round 1.5” or 2" I.D. header manifolds and makes attachments with rubber hose type connectors.

1.9" (1-7/8") O.D. Header:

For solar pool panels containing a 1-1/2″ I.D. header (1.5″ manifold I.D. / 1.9″ manifold O.D.)

2.375" (2-3/8") O.D. Header:

For solar pool panels containing a 2″ I.D. header (2″ manifold I.D. / 2.375″ manifold O.D.).
