Designed for the versatility of wearing multiple different ways. When rotated, The details on the 'Melt' Ring is unique from every angle. Hand carved from wax based from details of a melted wax candle. Open faced ring that can be gently adjusted by half a size. Cast in solid sterling silver and finished with a mirror finish that is meant to show wear over time.

Object Notes

In a process of replacement and adding onto the old. A candle was lit, unattended, and came back to  several hours later. What was left was a small blue flame and layers of melted wax that grew larger and larger, set, and hardened. This process speaks to the way of burning the things we think should leave; but certainly they were not meaningless because they were temporary. That things are not right or good because they can last forever.

• The Melt Ring is an organic/irregular shaped ring that measures at different widths. The widest point measures at about 15mm.
• Made from solid Sterling Silver that doesn’t contain metal additions that can typically cause infections or allergic reactions.
• The oils on your skin keeps sterling silver clean, wear often to prevent tarnishing over time.
• Wear and scratches will show with time like all precious metals, but we think character is beautiful.
