Cucumis sativus

Popular among canners!

We love a good, open-pollinated picklin' cucumber! Sumter produces 5-6", stout fruits all summer long, even in challenging conditions. Plant it in partial shade if you're a desert dweller.

Seeds grown by Rich Felton in Rawlins, Wyoming.

30 seeds.

Directions: Direct sow after danger of frost has passed and soil is consistently warm, or start indoors 3-4 weeks early and transplant. Thin to 12" spacing. Provide a trellis.
