The Tesser XL 5:3 Lamp is built on the Fibonacci sequence, geometry doing double duty as light source. Ridezign, based in Brooklyn, stacks the faceted form tall and dense, the layered geometry and translucent material becoming more visible the closer you look.

Cast in the Granite colorway, the grid runs deep burgundy brown against soft cream panes. Switched on, it glows warm, the kind of ambient light that suits a bedside table for reading in bed, or a desk that needs something softer than an overhead light.

This one plugs in. It comes with an 8-foot cord and an inline dimmer, built to sit as a proper floor or console lamp rather than move around the house on battery.
