Vinyl Record Sleeves

We are huge fans and vinyl record collectors ourselves here at Slim Disc. Records are getting forever more valuable and collectable, protecting your vinyl collection is essential to maintain the best condition and value. Traditional 12" LP vinyl album covers are made of PVC, which deforms with heat, sticks together easily making browsing a pain when your records have been stored for a long period of time.

PVC sleeves also have an orange peel effect and make the artwork small text hard to read. PVC is known for cracking easily and ageing. PVC is also quite heavy, just 100 sleeves in PVC will add a lot of weight making it more difficult to move and store your records. PVC outer record covers are often welded with a 2mm weld, which creases looking messy.

Slimdisc vinyl record sleeves are different. Made from Polypropylene they are resistant to chemicals, have a wide temperature range and do not stick. Our Vinyl LP sleeves also have excellent visibility so the original Vinyl artwork will still be visible whilst also being protected.

With Vinly LPs becoming more and more coveted it is important now more than ever to ensure that you use durable record sleeves to minimise the risk of scratches, dust and water marks, all issues that can affect the vinyl's quality and unfortunately it's value. By investing in our range of efficient vinyl sleeves you can sleep easy knowing your discs will be safe and secure.
