Ski brakes get in the way of every tune, and the Swix T165 Ski Brake Retainers hold them up and out of the way. This pack of two durable rubber bands lifts the brakes on alpine skis so the full base and edges are easy to reach. Waxing and edge work go faster when nothing is catching on the brake arms.

Why we like it:

It's a tiny, simple fix for an annoying problem, and once you've used them you won't tune without them.

Features and Functions:

Each pack contains 2 brake retainers made from a solid, durable rubber band. Loop one around the binding to lift the brake on an alpine ski, which clears the way for easier edge and base tuning. They're compact enough to keep in a wax box or a travel tuning kit.

Bottom Line:

Every tuning bench and travel kit needs a set. They make waxing and edge work on alpine skis cleaner and quicker.
