addilinos have been designed especially for children and beginning knitters.  Styled in the same manner as the other addi straight knitting needles, these have a few special features that make them the perfect needles to learn on.  The special coating gives the needles slightly more grip, so stitches are less likely to go flying.  The red and blue heart-shaped end stoppers help instructors and students alike - especially those who haven't mastered right and left yet.  The shorter, eight-inch length is perfect for learning on, and it eliminates the long, unwieldy inches of unused needles whipping around and getting in the way as the learner progresses.
