For more than 20 years, Japan Bed has been part of Karup Design’s signature style. Defined by its low height and open construction, this bed sits close to the floor, creating a calm, spacious feel in the room. Inspired by Japanese living, its balanced proportions bring lightness and simplicity to everyday life without demanding attention. Crafted in oak, the design gains a warm, grounded presence, while the natural grain, subtle knots, and gentle variations in the wood give each bed its own unique character.
