Growing Pains is a piece painted by Ibarra capturing the feeling of the pain experienced while outgrowing certain cycles of life. The eye captures the emotion of sadness, and the tear is meant to mimic honey, symbolizing the sweetness that later comes once certain chapters in life are closed and looked at through a different perspective.
