The Blade Does The Work; You Just Steer
For hands that have had enough of gripping and squeezing, the cutting is where a project stalls. Scissors want you to grip, squeeze, open, squeeze again, a hundred times down one seam. This works a different way. A small round blade turns at the head of the tool; you rest it on the line, and you push it along. Your hand steers. It does not grip.
Underneath the disc is a fixed blade. The spinning disc shears against it, so the cut happens between two edges and you only decide where they go. It handles most of what a sewing table sees: cutting out a pattern, quilting, and the curtains and cushion covers nobody enjoys cutting by hand. The blade is alloy steel, the handle is ABS, and it sits light in the hand. It charges from a cable, so there is no lead trailing off the table while you work.
