Carry It In, Wheel It Home

Two wheels sit under the base, on a fold-out frame that swings down when you want it. Empty, you carry it in over your shoulder like any other tote. Loaded, you tip it back and pull, and the shopping rides on the floor instead of on your arm. That is the difference between this and the bag you have now. It isn't only for the supermarket either — it goes to the Saturday market, it takes the towels and the picnic things down to the park, and it does the walk home from the shops with your hands free.

It opens out as well. Folded, it is a small tote for bread and milk; open it out, and the body lifts from 30cm to 45cm, so the bigger shop goes in the same bag. Done with it, it folds flat and lives in the boot rather than a cupboard. The body's Oxford cloth, so it wipes down after a leak or a squashed punnet, and it comes in prints as well as plain colours, so it looks like something you chose rather than something you inherited.
