Get The Loose Undercoat Off Before It Reaches The Sofa
Your house is why it sheds all year. Heating keeps your dog's coat cycling through winter as well as summer, so the fur keeps coming, and you end up hoovering in July for the same reason you hoover in January. Ten minutes with this, and the loose undercoat comes off your dog instead of ending up on the sofa, the rug, and the back of your jumper.
The edge is a forged metal blade, 120mm across, so each stroke clears a stripe that wide. It reaches the loose undercoat rather than only the hair on top. It's held on with metal fittings, not plastic clips. The grip is rubber, so it doesn't slide when your hands are covered in fur. It is black, a curved shell that sits in your palm with a textured rubber panel across the top, and the toothed edge runs along one side. There's no motor and no battery. You pick it up and start. It's built for horses, so a spaniel or a house cat is easy work.
