Smells like waking slowly in the mountains, when fog hangs low over the valley and the day hasn’t asked anything of you yet. A French press of dark roast coffee steams beside an open window as the landscape gradually comes into focus, the morning stretching out with nowhere you need to be. Warm, familiar and quietly indulgent; the kind of scent that makes you want to stay exactly where you are.
