JIGSAW CHESS CHECKER (draughts*) SET by TIM FOXALL

HANDMADE in SCOTLAND - RETIRED

THE 14 5/8” WOOD CHESSBOARD IS ACTUALLY A 64 PIECE JIGSAW PUZZEL and I find it a rather challenging one. THE 24 CHECKER DISCS ARE WOODEN as are the 32 CHESS PIECES…..ALL UNIQUELY HANDMADE.

*English draughts (British English) or checkers (American English), also called straight checkers or simply draughts, is a form of the strategy board game checkers (or draughts). It is played on an 8×8 checkerboard with 12 pieces per side.

GREAT FIND after closing IDEAS AND OBJECTS’ brick and mortar store.   Over the years many a favorite retired “object” came home with me….and this was one that was tucked away except for  a once or twice attempt by me to relearn chess and then shelved for years.
