Located at the base of the Acropolis in the Plaka, the oldest section of Athens, is a charming workshop and gallery where artisan Sofia Gkani creates intricately detailed replicas of classical Greek vessels. Beautifully hand-painted, Sofia meticulously reproduces Corinthian, Geometric, Red or Black Figure designs on each unique terracotta piece. Each vessel is signed and numbered by the artist.

Bring a touch of the ancient world to your collection with this Small Animal Pitcher. Stylized animals and winged creatures encircle its rounded body, framed by rosette motifs and geometric borders in black, cream, and earthy red tones.

A curved handle and flared spout give the pitcher a distinctive silhouette, while finely outlined details invite a closer look. Display it on a shelf or mantel as an eye-catching accent, or give it to someone drawn to animal imagery and the decorative traditions of antiquity.
