The Akari BB3-55DD pairs one of Isamu Noguchi’s earliest designs for Akari light sculptures, a stone-like cast iron base and jointed bamboo stem, with a shade from Noguchi's second wave of hanging globes, the D series. It features mulberry bark washi paper and irregular (detarame) bamboo ribbing.
