The Akari 2A UKAI Print shows a design Noguchi created for adapting one of his first Akari light sculptures, the 2A (c. 1952). Created by Ozeki & Co., the producer of Akari, the print features screenprinted black ink, with the abstracted design of Ukai fishing, over mulberry bark washi paper (the same paper used to make Akari), as well as Noguchi’s signature in black and the Akari logo, a sun/crescent moon, in red.
