The Akari 24A is among the first Akari light sculptures designed by Isamu Noguchi, and the smaller in a pair of related models, with the 23A. It features mulberry bark washi paper, tight, evenly-spaced bamboo ribbing, and a form resembling a vertical, prolate ellipsoid.
