The Akari F is among the Akari light sculptures designed by Isamu Noguchi about a decade after the start of the series. It features mulberry bark washi paper, tight, evenly spaced bamboo ribbing, and a long and complex form. The essentially cylindrical shape is interrupted by three other geometries: a softened rectangular prism, a sphere, and a bipyramid.
