The CL-SL130 retains a wider cleat adjustment range for riders using non-SHIMANO footwear or older SHIMANO road shoes that lack the expanded fore-aft adjustment of the newest SHIMANO shoes. This allows traditional cleat-positioning flexibility while using the new SPD-SLR system.
