About the Ruth Clutch
Choose cork, bonded nylon, canvas, vinyl, or faux leather to give your clutch its own look. The beginner-friendly construction uses Natalie’s classic time-saving method, with double-sided fusible web to help bring the layers together.
Note: The tiles are put together 3 pages across. They are numbered; just match the diamonds. I had to put flowers over my tile photo because of rampant copying going on, especially with agentic learning now. Thank you for understanding.
Finished Size: 12" W x 6" H x 4" D small 👉 (An oversized version is coming soon and it's super fun! I will add it to these files, so my shop can automatically email you with the larger size option when it is complete.)

Materials Needed
- Exterior: Sew Hungry Hippie vinyl, 18" × 22" (1 roll makes 2 clutches), or your preferred compatible material
- Lining: Quilting cotton or your material of choice, 18" × 22" for non-directional fabric; directional fabric requires more
- Frame: One 8" carpet bag frame
- Binding: Two pieces of extra-wide double-fold bias binding, each 8–10" long
- Fusible web: Steam-A-Seam 2, two 12" × 17" pieces or one 22" × 22" piece, or your preferred double-sided fusible web
