Can I sew it on a home sewing machine?

Yes. Test your needle, thread, presser foot and stitch length on a scrap first, and hold layers with clips instead of pins to avoid holes.

Do I need interfacing?

It depends on your project. For a structured bag, use Sew Hippie foam, Sew Hippie fusible foam, SHH Fusible Woven, batting or fusible fleece. For a slouchy style, skip it.

Is this the same as adhesive craft vinyl?

No. This is sewing vinyl for bags and accessories – it has no adhesive backing and isn't meant for cutting machines like Cricut.
