Early Jersey Wakefield Cabbage is an 1840s American heirloom with a distinguished history and a distinctive conical, pointed head that's as practical as it is elegant — compact, split-resistant, and packed with crisp, tender leaves and a mild, clean flavor that's exceptional in fresh slaws and quick braises. One of the fastest-maturing cabbages available, it delivers a quality harvest weeks before later-season varieties, making it the ideal first cabbage of the growing season.
