Broad Windsor Fava Bean is the classic old-world fava — a cool-season crop beloved in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooking for its large, creamy seeds and rich, nutty flavor. The plump beans are wonderful eaten fresh when young and sweet, or dried for use in soups and dips like ful medames. The tall, striking plants with their black-and-white flowers make them as ornamental as they are productive.
