The Horizontal Automatic Bilge Pump is a compact 12V or 24V marine pump with integrated electronic level sensing. Designed for automatic bilge drainage, it activates when water reaches the sensing level and switches off once the bilge has been pumped down.

With a rated flow of up to 70L/min (1,100GPH), a compact horizontal layout and removable strainer base, the pump is well suited to boats and other marine applications where space is limited.

Automatic Horizontal Bilge Pump – 70L/min

  • Available in 12V and 24V versions
  • Integrated automatic level sensing
  • Rated flow up to 70L/min (1,100GPH)
  • 66L/min (1,050GPH) at 1m head
  • Maximum discharge head of 4m
  • Compact horizontal design
  • Removable pump section for cleaning and maintenance
  • Can be wired for automatic or manual operation
  • Meets Australian Marine and CE/ISO standards
  • 12 month warranty

Integrated Automatic Level Sensing

The built-in electronic sensing system automatically monitors for rising water levels and activates the pump when required.

The pump is specified to activate when water reaches approximately 60mm and switch off when the level falls to approximately 10mm.

Because the sensing function is integrated into the pump, a separate external float switch is not required for normal automatic operation.

Automatic Operation

The electronic control system checks for water approximately every 2.5 minutes.

Once operating, the pump monitors load conditions and will stop after approximately 15 seconds if current draw falls below the specified threshold, indicating that the bilge has been pumped down.

Marine Installation & Maintenance

The compact horizontal configuration is useful in installations where vertical space is limited. The pump can be removed from the strainer base for inspection and cleaning, helping simplify routine maintenance.

The supplied outlet options allow the pump to be adapted to different hose sizes depending on the installation.

Marine Standards

The pump is documented as meeting Australian Marine and CE/ISO standards, supporting its suitability for compatible marine installations.

Typical Applications

  • Fishing boat bilges
  • Power boats
  • Sailing yachts
  • Kayaks and small craft
  • Marine drainage applications
  • General compatible water transfer and drainage

Manual Operation: The pump can also be wired for manual switching where required. Refer to the wiring diagram in the user manual for the correct connection method.
