A classic compact brown leather Gladstone bag from the late Victorian or early 20th century. Made from quality full-grain textured leather, these bags were used as simple holdalls and small travel bags by affluent families. 
Smaller versions were used by doctors to carry their medical equipment and medicine bottles.
A central button lock releases the top to open the bag. 

Condition report:
There is some wear to the top corners.
The interior lining shows significant signs of staining, marks, and is worn. We recommend this bag is used for display only.
