This artwork tells of three tribal groups who gathered around the lands we now know as the Awabakal, the lake’s gentle tides connect saltwater, freshwater. Along its shores lie ancient middens layers of shell, memories of feasts and kinship.
Soft blues and earthy ochres show the rhythm of water and land. Three gathering circles represent the tribes celebrating Together.
