Saha is part of Neutral Ground, a collection that bridges artful design with simplicity, offering warmth and balance to any space. Rooted in traditional Moroccan craftsmanship, each rug reflects a harmonious blend of heritage and modern living.
Inspired by the Arabic word for plaza or open space, Saha embodies the spirit of gathering, connection, and community. In Moroccan culture, the saha is a vibrant central place where people come together to share stories, celebrate, and engage in daily life.
Handwoven by artisans in M’rirt, a village nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains, each rug stands as a testament to enduring Moroccan craftsmanship. Led by Soukina, a second-generation artisan, this collective of 40 weavers continues a tradition founded by her late mother, Keltouma, in the early 2000s. Specializing in medium to high hand-knot rugs, they use a distinctive thick knotting technique that creates an exceptionally plush texture unique to the region.
Made from 100 percent live wool, Saha is dyed using carefully selected natural pigments by a third-generation dyeing family. This meticulous process produces rich, lasting color while maintaining a deep commitment to sustainability, quality, and craft.
A timeless expression of Moroccan artistry, Saha brings depth, culture, and craftsmanship into the home.
