Timing is everything when working with shellac. On the one hand, it takes time to dissolve in alcohol (ethanol or methyl hydrate), and on the other hand, it can evaporate and harden quickly if left uncovered. With this set, you can keep a working amount of liquid shellac and an application brush at the ready.

The vintage-style jar is made from thick, robust glass. The short-handled, round brush is attached through the cork stopper, so it can be easily taken out and put back during use.

Comes with a small jar of Pure Shellac Flakes to get started.
