Paul Bunyan Agate - hydrothermal, comes from the San Bernardino mountains the Cady Mountains in San Bernardino County. Much of the material found in this region is found from fissures that are probably seismically related. So an earthquake makes cracks and the same hydrothermal process I’ve described above occurs.
