From a mountain in Ukyō-ku, Kyoto, Japan, artist Go Takagi uses an ancient technique from the early period of the Yi Dynasty in Korea (1450-1750) to create his ceramics. This raised platter is a functional work of art and a stunning way to spotlight anything from pastries to a tea set to an array of fruit.
