A 19th-century English Regency mahogany metamorphic library chair, ingeniously designed to convert into a set of library steps. The tablet crest rail above scrolling open arms and a generously proportioned seat upholstered in black hair-on-hide upholstery, raised on sabre legs terminating in brass box casters.
