A 19th-century French walnut fauteuil with a richly carved frame featuring scrolling acanthus, shells, and floral motifs throughout. Raised on cabriole legs. The shaped back retains an intact cane panel beneath a gilt-tooled leather insert. The generously proportioned caned seat is also in tact, and upholstered in worn cognac leather.
