Coir matting is made sustainably from the outer husk of coconuts, bonded to a PVC backing for stability. The coarse natural fibres scrape dirt, moisture and debris from footwear at the door. Coir is a natural fibre that reacts adversely to sunlight, heat and water, so it is best suited to indoor and covered entrances, including recess areas.
