COARSE RIBBED CREW SOCKS ”COLLEGE COLORS”

1970年代後半にアメリカ西海岸で親しまれたチューブソックス。そのデザインにインスパイアされた「R1255 COARSE RIBBED OLDSCHOOL CREW SOCKS」の派生モデルです。特殊な編み機で編み立てた太番手コットンと、足底のロングパイルが生み出すR1255 のクッション性はそのままに、ヴィンテージのカレッジスウェットから着想を得たカラーリングを新たにプラス。微妙に異なるカラーの糸を２本取りし、色褪せた生地感を表現しました。長年使い込んだような奥行きのある色合いは、どこか懐かしい雰囲気を醸し出します。

Tube socks were popular in the West Coast of the United States in the late 1970s. Inspired by the retro design, these socks are made as a derivative model of the R1255 COARSE RIBBED OLDSCHOOL CREW SOCKS. It has the same original excellent cushioning, created by thick cotton knitted on a special knitting machine and long pile on the sole, while in a new retro color scheme inspired by vintage college sweatshirts. By mixing two threads in slightly different colors, the beautiful faded texture is created. The deep, rich colors evoke a somewhat nostalgic atmosphere.
